Dr Dan Beevers

Dan Beevers moved to the South West from Bournemouth to study dentistry in 1999 and qualified from Bristol University in 2004. After completing his dental training Dan joined St James’ Dental Practice in Gloucestershire.

He continued at the same practice for five years during which time he undertook private treatment of adult patients, whilst continuing to treat children within the NHS system. In tandem with his general practice career Dan has also maintained links with the University of Bristol and has been based in their Oral Surgery department for the past four years.

He joined the Circus Dental Practice in 2006 in a part time capacity and as of April 2009 became a full time member of the team. He still maintains a part time position within the department as an Honorary Clinical Teacher in Oral Surgery.

In this role Dan supervises undergraduate students in the clinical situation and continues to undertake oral surgery procedures through referral to the department. This further training has enabled Dan to complete more complicated surgical procedures within general practice. Most recently he has completed the first year of an MSc in Implantology which he is currently undertaking to enhance his abilities in placement of dental implants.
